Delivery Information

Deliveries will be dispatched by courier or the next working day after payment is received. Be aware that larger items can take between 2 – 5 days for the courier to deliver and it may take a few days for payment to show in our bank account.

We cannot deliver to P.O. BOX.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that their delivery address is correct before making any purchase. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or be responsible for any delays if the buyer decides to modify their address after purchase, but we will try our best to assist.

IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK PRODUCT FULLY BEFORE PLACING HIS/HER SIGNATURE FOR THE COURIER.

The Buyer must check the item(s) immediately after purchase / delivery and report any transit damage or faults by email within 24 hours of receiving the item. K Power Tools reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame.

IN NO EVENT, SHALL K Power Tools HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY AGAINST ANY SIGNED SHIPMENT.

 

SHIPPING

Additional freight is added for further outlying islands eg. Waiheke, Stewart Island etc. You may be contacted after your payment has been received for extra freight payments.
Courier parcels are sent with NZ Post and/or Aramex and bulk/Oversized freight is sent with Owens unless otherwise stated by K Power Tools.
Orders tagged for rural delivery are signed for by the local rural delivery driver and can take up to three  days to be delivered to the rural address after being handed over to the rural driver.
The customer agrees to follow up any orders with the freight company and arrange delivery once the product leaves K Power Tools with the tracking details provided.

Privacy Policy

K POWER TOOLS does not log personal data/information without your input and permission, and when this permission is given it is not linked to statistical information that we gather. We do not sell, share or trade customers personal information collected online with third parties.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

 

CONTRACT, PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

Orders will be accepted by K POWER TOOLS, for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Product specifications may vary from what is advertised.

 

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.

Products marked as ‘in stock’ on the website may not be available in store but can be ordered from the respective supplier.

 

PRICING

All prices in the shopping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay. You must pay by Mastercard or Visa or online transfer. We will not accept cheques or cash on delivery. K POWER TOOLS takes no responsibility for pricing mistakes etc.

 

CANCELLATION

You cannot cancel your order once it has been placed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes to your order.

 

DELIVERY

TITLE AND RISK

Goods are at our risk until delivered to the address given for your purchase.

 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Once order is placed, you have read and agreed to all our terms and conditions.

In the very unlikely event of damaged or faulty goods returns must be made within 7 days. K Power Tools supply a repair, replace or refund your item (at our discretion).

Please note that we will not, as a standard matter of course, offer a refund or exchange if you have changed your mind or chosen incorrectly.

Please make sure the order you have purchased is what you want prior to purchasing, read all relevant information on products and warranties, returns must be made within 7 days and the product is sent back to us at the “Buyers Expense“. If in Doubt, please ask.

Please kindly note when making a return that you will need to bring/send the product to us with

  • A valid invoice including EFTPOS chit where applicable.
  • The product is unused.
  • The product is returned in its original packaging and can be re-sealed.
  • Any included accessories are also returned.

All refunds will be made to the original tender type. Refunds must be made to the same card that was used for the original purchase.

We cannot provide a change of mind refund or exchange for non-stocked, specially ordered products.

Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction and do our best to resolve problems as quickly as possible.

K Power Tools are not liable for goods damaged or lost in delivery but please do inform us of the incident immediately (Image and Description is required, or delays will be caused). We will place a claim application against your product, and replacement or refund for the product will only be given once courier settles the claim with us.

Please choose carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions, ask before purchasing, please do not purchase until you are cleared of all doubts.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

K POWER TOOLS is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if K POWER TOOLS was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Warranties

When choosing our collection, the best of care goes into sourcing suitable pieces for you to enjoy for a reasonable amount of time.

Under our guarantee, faulty items that meet our conditions of care and use will be repaired, replaced or a refund will be issued at K Power Toolsʼ discretion.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

Our warranties cover manufacturing defects, please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Accidental damage or mistreatment.

For any claim to be made the item must be sent directly to K Power Tools. Contact details of our store can be found at the bottom of the website page.

Warranty does not cover indirect or consequential damage resulting from the defects or inaccuracy or inoperativeness of the product.

Warranties for Makita, DeWalt, Festool, Milwaukee, Hikoki and Bosch are only valid if the tool is registered with the New Zealand importer.

Warranties shall not apply if products are bought for use by a hire company.

After sale support
My goods arrived damaged, what should I do?

We are sorry to hear your goods have not been received in the condition you would expect. In the unlikely event of receiving damaged goods please contact us and make us aware. All of our goods are checked and wrapped carefully before they are sent out, however we know accidents do happen and it’s possible something could happen during transit. We may ask you to take photographs, so the best thing to do would be to email us with these and details of your order, including the order number. Once you have sent this across, you are welcome to phone us and we can arrange collecting the item and sending you a replacement as quick as possible.

There is an item missing from my order.

If you are missing an item that you were expecting to come with the rest of your order, you’re more than welcome to call us and we can investigate this for you. It may be a case that the items were sent individually, however we will look into this straight away and advise you. If an item is missing, it’s also possible it could be out of stock. In this instance, we would have tried to contact you to make you aware. You could also check your emails incase you missed our call and we have emailed you to inform you. We will aim to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

How do I return an order?

You may return your order to us at our company address (see right) within 14 Working Days. Please ensure the item/s are returned in the same packaging, if it came in a branded box or sealed bag etc. and it is wrapped securely to ensure it arrives back safely our end. Once we have received your item and checked it’s in a sellable condition, we will issue a full refund of the product value back to your account.

My order hasn‘t arrived, please help?

Please check your order confirmation to ensure you are expecting the item before contacting us. It’s alway worth remembering, that if you placed the order past 3pm it will take an extra working day. Please also ensure you keep your phone handy as it’s possible a courier may be in touch to ask for more detailed directions. How do I know if the product is right for the job?

We have lots of knowledge in the industry and have used many of the tools ourselves, but our range is so vast we can’t be experts on every tool! (As much as we would like to be!) We do collect product reviews, and chances are a like-minded tradesman and customers has purchased the item before. So, it may be helpful to you, to have a quick read through & see what they’ve said. We love getting reviews back, as many of our users offer some really useful tips. When do you place your order, make sure you leave us an honest review too!

What warranty do I get with my order?

All our electrical items come with 1 year warranty. Many of our manufacturers offer an extended warranty if you register your purchase on their website. For more information on warranties click here.

Do you sell Gift Cards?

We are about to launch our own E-Gift Cards – so will update you once this is live on the website. They are a great idea for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas. Once up and running you’ll be able to choose the value and send direct to the recipient of your choice. You can choose a design, a personal message and we will issue a unique code which can be entered at check-out and redeemed against the value of their order. E-Gift Cards can be redeemed against all items. If they do not spend the total value, we will keep the remaining balance in their account for them to use on another occasion. Please note that E-Gift Cards will expire after 1 year of issue.
